Resilience refers to the ability to manage change and develop in a positive way. Resilient meals are those that strengthen food preparedness, competitiveness, and sustainability within the food service sector. The five PLATE principles provide the framework, stating that a meal should be: environmentally sustainable, healthy, preparedness-building, good and appreciated, and sourced from responsible production.
PLATE is a research centre that explores and strengthens the sustainability, competitiveness, and preparedness of the food service sector. At PLATE interdisciplinary researchers collaborate with key stakeholders from the public sector, businesses, and civil society to identify barriers, opportunities, and solutions for a more resilient and sustainable food service sector.
If your organisation is interested in becoming a core partner in PLATE, please contact us at info@plateresearch.org. PLATE collaborates with stakeholders from the public sector, industry, and civil society. Briefly describe how your organisation can contribute to PLATE’s goals, and we will guide you through the next steps.
Core partners are actively involved in PLATE’s research and practice, while network partners are organisations that contribute valuable expertise but are not necessarily as operationally engaged. We welcome more core partners but currently have no plans to expand the number of network partners.
We prioritise collaboration with our core partners, but if your idea is compelling, we can also work with external stakeholders in a PLATE lab. Get in touch with us at info@plateresearch.org and tell us about your idea!
